Presentation Format

We invite abstract submissions for individual paper presentations, symposiums, and posters under the Conference Theme and one of the Conference Strands.

  • Individual paper (25 minutes)
The paper is presented by an individual author or co-authors. Each presentation is allocated 20 minutes and there will be 5 minutes of Q&A. Typically, three individual paper presentations, belonging to the same strand, are grouped together in one 90-minute concurrent session.
  • Symposium (80 minutes)
The symposium is presented by multiple authors or co-author groups. Each 80-minute symposium comprises 3 or 4 presentations. In addition to the abstracts for the individual presentations, the symposium proposal should include one 250-350-word integrative statement describing the overall theme of the symposium and connections between the presentations. Download the Symposium Template (Word docx format, 20KB; also available at the submission portal). The completed proposal document must be uploaded during the submission process.
  • Poster (Session 1, Day 2: 60 minutes) (Session 2, Day 3: 90 minutes)
